So what makes the Dead Sea mud so special? It has a high concentration of salts and minerals. The Dead Sea is not attached to another body of water. As it evaporates each year its many salt and minerals are absorbed into the bottom of the sea. When this mud is applied to the skin, it is like putting needed minerals, including potassium, magnesium, sodium, bromine, and calcium, directly on the skin.

Dead Sea clay pulls toxins out of your skin, much like activated charcoal, with the added benefit of adding needed minerals. This leaves the skin clean, hydrated and refreshed.
